Review : Simple Amazing 7970!
Well gents, if you want the biggest and baddest, this is it. The Radeon HD 7970. The worlds single fastest gpu. The 1st game I tried was Battlefield 3 on Ultra all setting go at 1920 x 1080. She put up a solid 65+ FPS With everything on. No lag input nothing, just solidly smooth beautiful scenery. But 65 that... ok.... SO then i started overclocking, and tweaking game setting. Lets just say after some testing im about a constant 90ish fps on ultra, and the worst i seen it dip down to is high 70s, but more than float over 100 fps. And I play in 64 man servers only.
Tested it with Skyrim, and other games. The card is just amazing, I mean no stutters, tearing etc. It is very very very quit. I was astounded by how quiet to be honest. And even after overclocking (which it has a LOT of room to do) its still more than fine.
The bads: Price. Yea it has Corvette speed, at a Corvette price. If wait a bit, AMD is sure to lower the stick when Nvid bring out their new cards...
I think, explains the few complaints apropos ASUS AMD Radeon HD 7970 with GPU Tweak and PCIe 3.0 Bus Graphics Cards HD7970-3GD5 not fitting or leaking.
