Review : Great graphics card that more than meets my needs
I'm not a gamer, but I did need a decent graphics card for my new system (no onboard graphics). Even so, coupled with a budget-friendly Intel DX79TO motherboard, this card still scores a 7.7 on both Graphics and Gaming Graphics in the Windows Experience Index.

I know everyone is preaching nVidia these days, but I was drawn to MSI and the 6850 platform because of value. I was not about to drop a cool grand or more on video cards. This version in particular caught my attention because of the cyclone cooler. I figured if it looks good, performs well, and meets my needs (dual monitor) and budget, what else could I ask for? And it really does look good! The $15 rebate didn't hurt either.

I have not installed Afterburner, so don't bother asking me about benchmarks or overclocking. It handles 2 monitors without any hiccups, and that's about all I can say. If I have any problems rendering a movie next time I fire up Sony Vegas, I'll update the review. Or buy a...
