Review : Exceptional... once upon a time, anyway.
First, I'm not shocked to find that this card is WICKED FAST. It rips through just about anything, turning out about 60 FPS even in Crysis at Very High, despite my older Core 2 Quad 9550. The card positively shreds anything else, and makes some very nice visuals while doing so!

ALSO, Make sure to keep your drivers up to date! The 260.69 driver release really bumped up my performance, and I'm sure there will be additional driver updates (and more "unlocked" performance) to come.

Apparently the new FERMI architecture in the 400 series tends to "run hot and suck down power." I haven't noticed any power drop at all on my PSU (1000w), so I don't think you'll have to worry unless you're close to the minimum recommended power requirement of 550w (from Nvidia's site). Even then, as long as you don't overclock, you should be okay until you can upgrade to a 600w or 700w power supply.

I've got the heat "issues" under control, too: the Precision monitor allows you...
