Review : Absolutely amazing
Let me start off by saying: what a card! I was building what was essentially a new computer as my older one I built in 2007 would not be able to handle the game I was looking forward to for a year: Battlefield 3. After doing plenty of research on a video card, I decided to jump on the Radeon 6950 instead of the 6970 for two reasons: 1) a good amount of 6950's (at least when I bought it) were able to have their shaders unlocked to essentially make them a 6970 and, 2) price difference.

Needless to say, I could not be happier with this card, which I chose over others for its cooling capabilities with its IceQ technology, which works wonders (more on that later). Nonetheless, once I received my card I became curious to see if the card was able to have its shaders unlocked to equal those of the 6970 (1536 shaders) and to my amazement, and thanks to the website techpowerup, I successfully flashed the BIOS of this card and unlocked the remaining shaders which essentially made...


I think, explains the few grievance regards HIS Radeon HD 6950 IceQ X Turbo 2GB (256bit) GDDR5 2x Mini-DisplayPort HDMI 2x DVI (HDCP) PCIe X16 2.1 Video Card H695QNT2G2M not fitting or leaking.
