Review : great card, a little spendy though
upgraded from 2 dx10 cards in sli. even though they were aging i still put up respectable 3dmark scores but no dx11 support. so i needed these for the upcoming games im interested in.
installed without a hitch. nvidia drivers work great, all games including current games, running at max res with all the goodies turned on. i even logged into wow to check out my fps. 205fps at idle in ogrimmar, 145-190ish in pandaria. i didnt raid or anything cz i havent played in a while.
3dmark scores were lower than the 3dmark site claims i should be getting but it still tripled my dx10 scores and my dx 11 hit 6k. 3dmark states i should be getting over 8k on this card so im going to write off the discrepancy to my cpu being a bottle neck. ill upgrade that next and see what happens. and im comparing 1 of these to 2 older cards in sli. if i put in another i would expect my scores to skyrocket.
they run cool. 29C at idle and 50C under load. my old cards were breaking the...
