Bought this GPU for a new build. My original intention was just to use the ole EVGA 9800GT I have in my previous build and boy I am glad I did not. I thought the 9800GT did a great job graphically and I suppose for it's time and price range it was respectable, however, this card blows it away. I am actually enjoying the games I play more and in awe at all of the finer detail that this card brings out. I mean I am seeing things that were never there before when using the 9800GT. As expected my windows experience index score went up for both Graphics and Graphics gaming, but I did not expect them both to go up from a 6.8 to a 7.6 with 7.9 being the highest possible.
I have not tested and compared frame rate speeds to my previous card but game play makes it apparant there is a significant increase.
The card is double wide. This is not a problem with my Gigabyte GA-890FXA-UD5 m/b for it does not get in the way of other slots or headers. The length of the card is not...
I think, explains the few grievance regards EVGA GeForce GTX460 1 GB Superclocked GDDR5 PCI-Express 2.0 Graphics Card - 2 year warranty 01G-P3-1372-TR not fitting or leaking.
