Review : Amazing GPU! Fast, cool, and quiet!
I recently received my Zotac Gtx 680 and I cannot be more satisfied! I upgraded from a MSI Twin Frozr II gtx 580 and I'm so glad I did. I was first a little worried about the temperatures of the gtx 680s reaching well above 75c but I'm amazed I haven't seen any temperatures higher than 63-65c on this card. Another concern I had was that since this was a reference card the fan would be loud considering my twin frozr gtx 580 was super quiet even at high loads. Rest assured this card is silent and I have not heard any difference in sound since installing and running this card. I have not tempted to overclock or tweak the card and I'm getting amazing performance on all current games. Battlefield 3 on all settings Ultra with 4xMSAA, 16XAF, and HBAO at 1920x1080, I'm getting NO LESS than 60-70fps even on the larger maps like Caspian Border or Gulf of Oman. My temps while running Battlefield stay in the low 60c to high 50c! Compared to my Gtx 580 at these settings I would be dipping into the...
