Review : Awesome for HD movies
I bought this mainly for its HDMI 1.4a output to my new 1080p projector, and secondarily to play some games like Skyrim. It has performed amazingly well on both fronts. I needed this particular model because it has both a full size HDMI as well as VGA/DVI output. Other cards don't, or have a mini-HDMI port which is more difficult to find cables for. Beware of that before you buy a graphics card.
The card came with a 5-foot long cable, but I also bought a 25 foot HDMI-HDMI cable to run from my computer to the projector. The image is just spectacular for movies as well as gaming.
The card doesn't need additional power, it runs entirely off the PCI bus, so I know it doesn't suck up much power unlike other cards.
