Review : If you need 4 displays and a low-profile card, this is it... just do it ...
I originally purchased 2x 6450 cards to drive 4 displays on my desktop (mostly work but some video) setup. I thought I was being smart and saving money... I was terribly wrong.
The best WEI score I could get was 4.4 (Aero) and my system was running very hot. Worse, those particular cards (XFX) were categorized as "low profile" but the heatsink protruded 5 mm or so and didn't allow me to close my case. I also experienced "static" random lined popping up that were driving me nuts. Unfortunately, they were only exchangeable for the same card, so I was out of luck and out $70.
This card works flawlessly. My system runs cooler, no static, and my WEI is 6.6.
I've researched this for way too many hours and this card offered me the lowest cost and highest performance for a low-profile single slot installation.
I think, explains the few gripe on VisionTek ATI Radeon HD 5570 1 GB SFF 4-Port VHDCI x16 PCI Express Graphics Card (900345) not fitting or leaking.
