Review : Worked Great For 9 Months But Then Died
I bought this card nine months ago. With the exception of some minor driver issues that were corrected by an nVidia patch a few months later, it worked fine for all that time. I play a lot of games, so I used the card heavily during those nine months.

A few days ago, the card stopped working. The fan still spins, but the card no longer sends any data to the monitor. A PNY tech told me that my power supply is probably to blame rather than the card, but I replaced the card with a GTX 590, which works just fine. So it seems very likely to me that the card is dead.

PNY provides a one-year warranty, which is extended to "lifetime" if the card is registered within 90 days. I registered the card the day after I got it, so, no problem, right?

Wrong.

It turns out that PNY will only honor its warranty if you return the defective card in its original packaging. I threw the original packaging away nine months ago, as soon as I saw that the card worked...
