Review : Another great card from EVGA, out performs the GTX 550 Ti!
Let me start out by saying, I have owned several video cards, most by EVGA since they are in my opinion the best board partner to NVIDIA. The card I owned previous to installing this one was the GTX 550 Ti 1GB FPB edition by EVGA and honestly never had any issues with it however I had seen in some benchmarks that the 650 Ti nearly doubled its performance and was even smaller in form factor when compared to the 550 Ti. I have tried countless games on my new 650 Ti SSC 1GB, Battlefield 3, Sleeping Dogs, and Max Payne 3, 3 graphic intensive games. It succeeded in all 3 of them on medium settings pushing out a whopping 44-61 FPS. On high I got about 32-47 FPS but keep in mind this board is extremely affordable compared to better performing boards on the market such as the GTX 680 Ti. Even if you are getting 44 FPS minimum on a game like battlefield, you are still getting more FPS than its console version which is capped at 30FPS. Also, Even on Medium, Battlefield 3 looks gorgeous...
